LG KS360 Mobile Phone Review – Touch Screen Features at Your Fingertips!

There are a few mobile phone makers that seem to embrace new technology quicker than everyone else. They bring out new models of phone virtually as soon as the new technology has been discovered and proven to work and LG is certainly one of those designers and manufacturers. Although touch screen phones have only just appeared on the market, LG already have several out for us to look at and the LG KS360 is a perfect example of why LG should certainly be considered when choosing your next phone.
The LG KS360 was LG’s very first QWERTY handset and introduced people all over the world to new technology. As such, some of the previous features many LG handsets featured were dropped to make way for it. That is not to say that it is not a good handset though because it most definitely is. It is perfect for people that text and email a lot when on the go because it is a heavy duty phone.
The LG KS360′s screen is beautiful and frames the whole handset perfectly. At 2.8″ and with 262,000 colours, it really does enable the touch screen functionality to flourish. It is stylish and solid so you can rest assured that it will both look good and last. The touch screen is definitely responsive and thus easy to get to grips with, which makes it an ideal introduction to the new technology.
There is a range of connectivity options available with the LG KS360. You have the choice of USB and bluetooth, as well as great instant messaging and web based options. As such, you can literally get in touch with anyone as and when you like. Browsing is easy and instant messaging that is facilitated by the touch screen is even better. There is also a good music player on board so you can listen to your favourite tunes as and when you like too.
There are some negatives associated with the LG KS360 though. For example, the camera on board is only 2MP in comparison with their previous offerings of 3MP and 5MP cameras. It does not have an auto focus either, but then the camera is adequate and provides those looking for a camera with an imaging option. Also notable by their absence is 3G, WiFi and GPS connectivity. We have come to expect those features as standard but then something had to make way for the new technology! Many would argue that those features were indeed redundant anyway.
Although there is only 15MB of memory on board the LG KS360, it is easily expandable to 4GB with a microSD card. Given the camera and multimedia options, this is essential for use if you really want to enjoy and experience the phone.
It makes a refreshing change when any mobile phone designer cuts out certain technology to make way for the newly developed aspects. In fact, the LG KS360 demonstrates LG’s ability to realise exactly what customers want and their unwillingness to sacrifice quality for content.
